How long will it take for my purchase to arrive?
My current turnaround time for ready to ship items is 3-5 business days.
The following pieces sometimes require a longer lead time due to production:
- All custom clay pieces are made to order. Current lead time for these pieces is 3-4 weeks, sooner in summer/warmer months.
- The process to make a ceramic piece is quite involved and sensitive. Small pieces like mugs may only take 2-3 weeks.
Each piece is made in the Stoney Tree Studio at time of order. Due to the handmade processes involved in each piece, time of year, etc processing time can be shorter or longer.
Custom pieces have a current turnaround time is 3-4 weeks, depending on supplies needed to complete your order. My custom order list is currently on going, so if you would like to be added, please send me an email or fill out the form locating in the contact portion of the website. I’ll be in touch with you soon!

At this time, I only offer shipping inside the United States and free local pick up!
What type of materials do you use to create your pieces?
I research and source the best quality and local supplies I can get my hands on, while keeping our prices affordable. ALL of the clays and glazes are LEAD free.
I strive to support local and fair trade suppliers.
How do I care for my new ceramic piece?
All ceramic ware at Stoney Tree Studio is fired to Cone 5. This is a mid-high fire range making your ware dishwasher and microwave safe. Be sure to be careful with all microwaving as ware will heat up with the contents inside! Most ware has a foot or rim on the bottom to keep heat from your home surfaces. Even though the clay is now very hard and durable please do not use on the stovetop or submit to thermal shock…they will not handle sharp contrasts between hot and cold or uneven heat well.
I still have questions…
If you can’t find the answer to your questions here, please send me an email at email@example.com and I will gladly get back to you with as much information as I can! Thank you so much for your support!
